10.0Great location - a good balance between feeling remote, yet it is still accessible for the main areas of Cumbria. Excellent lodge regarding the size, furnishings & facilities. The goats & donkeys add further character. Very friendly owners who clearly run the lodges in a thoughtful way that gives the users a fantastic experience of the rural idyll.

10.0La casa está situada en una zona muy tranquila y a la vez cercana a Carlisle, un pueblo con supermercados a tan sólo 10 minutos en coche. Es un alojamiento perfecto para ir a Lake District. El personal fue muy amable con nosotros, nos dejaron leche y un bizcocho casero de los productos obtenidos de los animales de su granja. La casa estaba muy limpia y era muy amplia y cómoda. Las camas muy cómodas, descansamos muy bien. La cocina tenía todo lo que necesitábamos para cocinar. También tuvimos una barbacoa en el patio. Es un alojamiento perfecto para estar con niños, gracias a su amplitud, tranquilidad y patio con espacio verde. 100% recomendado.
