Lovely back-to-nature location with comfortable basic accomodation so you can relax and unwind
8.0The location of magical. Beautiful views and a lovely secluded location. We stayed in The Lodge and had plenty of space of 7 adults to enjoy time being together. Lovely outdoor firepits, fishing from the wharf, walk through the grounds, just lovely. We have been visiting for 30 years and love going back.
− Our group are big foodies. We love to cook when we are together but the kitchen facilities in The Lodge were not great. There is no oven only 2 plug-in cooktop elements, a microwave and a good BBQ. There is not much bench space to prepare or serve, especially for a larger group. The layout of the bathrooms was a bit strange. You needed to go through the bathrooms to get to either the kitchen and one bedroom, or the other bathroom, to get to another one of the bedrooms. It was OK for us, but you need to know your house mates well!!
Awesome location only accessible by ferry so very private.

Good to know
Currawong offers you a uniquely secluded experience because it can only be accessed by water. You can take a 25 minute ferry ride from Palm Beach Wharf on Barrenjoey Road, or book the barge or Water Taxi.
If you are arriving by boat please book in advance one of the two slip ropes (for smaller boats) or the deep water mooring.
Currawong is self-catered and has no shops, please bring your own supplies and beach towels.
The peaceful enjoyment of all guests at Currawong Beach Cottages and its facilities is important.
Please be aware that between 10pm and 6am noise restrictions take effect and outside noise needs to be kept to a minimum. If you are entertaining in the outside areas please be aware of this or move guests inside. Amplified music is not permitted outdoors so as not to disturb other guests who come here for the quiet.
