6.0Het eten was heel goed en de staf was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zo hebben ze de eettafels voor ons buiten gezet voor een gezelliger eet ervaring met uitzicht op het regenwoud
− De bedden waren heel erg slecht; single of double je ligt in een diepe kuil die je voelt in je rug. De plaatjes komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid; de accommodatie is schoon maar flink verouderd. De stroom en dus ook de wifi valt vaak uit.

− Habitación muy pequeña prácticamente sin luz. Las sábanas estaban sucias. Comida pésima de lata. Personal poco implicado. ALERTA: Realizamos la Community Walk y la Batwa Experience. Durante ambas actividades nos sentimos un billete con patas, intentando vendernos cualquier producto. Además, en la Batwa Experience no nos sentimos cómodos, valorando la actividad de poco ética pareciendo un "zoo humano".

10.0Das Personal der Lodge ist einfach herausragend und so herzlich. Ich habe mich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Alle haben sich so gut um mich gekümmert und mir bei vielen Dingen geholfen. Das Zimmer ist einfach, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das Bett bequem, das Moskitonetz dicht, warmes Wasser in der Dusche immer vorhanden. Es kann in der Gegend zu Stromausfällen kommen, aber es gibt Solarlampen in den Zimmern. Das WLAN ist sehr stabil - bei Stromausfällen ist es nicht vorhanden, aber für den Fall, dass der Strom länger fehlt, hat die Lodge auch einen Generator. Von der Terrasse vorm Zimmer blickt man auf den gegenüberliegenden Wald und kann die Geräusche der Natur (Vögel, Insekten, Schimpansen) hören. Zum Nationalparkgate sind es nur ein paar hundert Meter. Das "Zentrum" von Buhoma ist ebenfalls gut fußläufig zu erreichen, in ca. 20 Minuten - und es ist absolut sicher, sich hier allein zu Fuß zu bewegen. Das Essen in der Lodge ist sehr gut, Frühstück, Lunch und Dinner. Fürs Gorilla Tracking wurde mir ein sehr guter reichlicher packed lunch mitgegeben. Die Lodge kann auch Aktivitäten organisieren - Besuch im Batwa Empowerment Village, Pangolin Rescue Center, Community Walk, Hiking, Birding ... alles sehr gut organisiert und mit netten kompetenten lokalen Guides.
