A beautiful stay, however because we want to be fair and helpful to both the hosts and future guests, there were a few structural and privacy details that impacted our comfort: We understand it’s late May in the bush, but the windows aren't insulated well, and one was stuck slightly ajar. It was freezing upon arrival, and we had to run the heater continuously. The frost on the glass was beautiful, but the bedding closest to the window felt a bit damp/frosty to the touch. The description mentions it's two chalets in one dwelling, and otherwise "intimate & private" but the shared wall is quite thin—you can easily hear your neighbors walking or flushing the toilet while trying to sleep. Additionally, the shared outdoor staircase to the river passes right by the balcony, our neighbors didn't use it but if they had it would have looked directly into our space, conveniently the photos of the deck cut off before you can see this. The hot tub was a delightful touch, but again convenient and deceiving photos showed crystal clear water with vague descriptions of a spa on the deck. some of the filter lids were missing and It uses filtered mineral water (which is great for the skin!), but it does have a distinct river scent that took some getting used to, this wasn't mentioned online and for the main highlight of the stay that was a big letdown, and again the shared staircase passes the spa balcony so it wasn't very private at all.. There wasn't a shower mat provided, and because the shower glass lacks a rubber seal, water drenched the bathroom floor. Since the rules strictly state not to use spa towels for the shower or visa versa we had to manage the puddle with face washers and just step in it anyway. I didn't expect these things for the price that I paid if I'm being 100% honest, I was marketed luxury  & private intimacy but it didn't really feel like that near the end.

As above
