Major Construction At This Place
2.0The only thing I liked was the bed..
− Dirty, rat poo on the veranda. Unhelpful reception, uninterested and unwilling with limited English to help with any tourist information. Breakfast was tiny bit of pork, all fat. Had to push for hot water. Major construction going on.
Okay if you need to stay somewhere overnight
6.0We stayed overnight because we were tired after long way driving and this was the only option we found. The room was tiny but enough. There was no AC, only fan, so it got little bit hot overnight. The breakfast is not included in the price.
They lock the gates at night and you can't get out!
1.0They actually locked me and the other guests in behind a steel gate and I couldn't get out! I woke up at 6:00 a.m. to get a good start on my adventure, only I was greeted with a locked gate and no one around to open it up. I banged on the gate a while and yelled down the hallway hello hello, no answer. 45 minutes later I got fed up with that worked my way around to the side junk pile climbed on top of a Jeep, and then clamored over a barbed wired and spiked fence like you would see in a prison. I've been all over the world, and stayed in some pretty sketchy places, but I've never had a hotel lock me in with no way to get out other than over a barbed wire fence, what if there had been a fire!? When I returned from my trip and spoke to the manager about this, he smiled and apologized prophetically, however when I told him that I was unhappy and would not be staying another night, they shut off the power to my room so I had no way to have hot water and air conditioning to clean up and pack my stuff. The place looked nice and inviting when I arrived and the restaurant was open, the room was very basic and they had trouble getting the air conditioner started. When I took a look at their electrical system, I got a little worried about the fire hazard, not knowing about them locking the gate at night or I would have never stayed there. I'm not one to push my Western standards on other cultures, but I'm quite certain this is against the Philippine fire safety codes.
Disappointing
4.0− The property need small renovation. We had room with collapsing floor, no window. Breakfast 4/10. Stuff made just formal work...
