An excellent hotel if you are planning a visit to Mainz.
10.0I managed to hit a holiday weekend and I was in fact the only resident in the hotel for my two nights where I was very well looked after. The hotel car park is exceptional and bizarrely the state of Hessen does not allow free car parking at hotels so there is a charge of one euro a night - well worth it! While the car was comfortable in the car park, so was its owner in the hotel. It cannot be easy putting on a breakfast buffet for a sole resident but I was very pleased with what was on offer. I also appreciated the advice I got about leaving the car where it was and taking the train into Mainz. I would have asked but I did not need to and I really appreciated what I was told - go one stop! I would otherwise have gone further but the advice was spot on and the station is diagonally across the road from the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to book here again.
