We booked the lodge and suite, rooms were very nice for a large group of people. There were complete sets of sheets, pillows and blankets for pull out beds. The kitchen is a bit chaotic but it will likely have everything you need cooking implement wise but if you absolutely need something bring it just in case. Coffee maker, kettle, soap, also in the washrooms. There was a bbq on site but remember to bring a gas tank if you want to use it. The beach was nice, fairly sandy till you hit the mud, but nice to swim in. Not a lot of boat activity so it was a quiet area. One of the docks needs to be repaired as they were sinking in. The kayaks and canoes had all the items needed to use them and were great to take out. The fire pit was nice for a fire with benches. The owner is very responsive to questions before arriving and most requests and is on site, which was great if you had questions.

− While the water is drinkable it tastes like the lake and this is coming from someone who grew up on well water best to bring your own. If you are relying on wifi or signal for a large group this is not the best location for that as wifi was off and on and quite slow, but if you're there to relax and not work it's fine. The pool did not seem to be functioning and had not been cleaned when we arrived and did not have maintenance for the weekend we were there which was a bit disappointing. It wasn't green but needed some TLC and the pump didn't seem to be working. The hot tub's cover had been broken and was shedding into the tub, but was still usable.

The perfect place for large groups with entertainment both inside and out. Highly recommend!

I loved that our whole family with multiple generations could stay in one place together, and we all had a good time! The kids loved the hot tub, the pool table and tv room, we loved the many bedrooms with ensuites and the cozy loft space, the huge kitchen table and two fridges. What a beautiful location. We’d love to come back in the summer when we can take advantage of the beach, water activities, playground and fire pit! Mike was very responsive and quick to replace empty batteries and dishwasher soap.

− There were a lot of dead flies in the window sills (we came in the off season), and the heaters were a bit difficult to set to the appropriate temperature. The king mattress was very saggy in the middle, but we still had a comfortable sleep and really enjoyed our stay! Great value for the price.

Relaxing venue in the Ontario woods and lakes

Great location close to lakes and massive parks. The resort grows on you as the days go by. Staff is great and helpful.

− It isn’t fancy. Do not expect massive comfort. Enjoy the surroundings. Not many food options around, it is better to be prepared for cooking.
