Reasonable accomodation in the stables located right adjacent to the iconic Larnach Castle
7.0We (me and my dear mother) stayed in the stables located right next to the historic and iconic Larnach castle, this is in an amazing location. Larnach castle and awesome and the views of the Otago peninsula are great. This place comes with a lot of history and I was fascinated to learnt that my mother is related to the third wife of William Larnach. The history that comes with this place, Larnach castle, is just awesome.
− Shared bathrooms that could do with some rennovation. Old beds and bedroom furniture. I am sure the temperature is just fine in summer but we were there in winter. The rooms were cold and could do with a heat pump in them.

10.0We had a wonderful stay, super friendly check in, room was lovely with exceptional views from the verandah, the gardens and castle were beautiful and we enjoyed a tasty included breakfast. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.
