La atención de todo el personal fue excelente, desde la dueña una excelente señora tuvimos problemas al momento de iniciar el viaje hacia la finca y muy amablemente la señora nos hizo el cambio de la reserva todo mediante conversaciones, se nos indicó la llegada a la finca con una buena descripción y señalización del camino. En la finca, nos esperaba el señor Marcial y la esposa que son las personas que están directamente en la finca y que te ayudan en cualquier gestión. Nos proporcionaron un caballito en el cual nuestra hija anduvo por cierto tiempo en la tarde. La cabaña se encuentra accesible, a la orilla del camino. En buenas condiciones el baño y camas. Todo en perfectas condiciones

Nice views, nice family and in nature. Private bathroom for each hut.

− Bed bugs, & lots of other dead bugs in the bed, no water available the second day (the staff offered to bring a bucket of water in case we needed to flush the toilet), water leaked at the foot of one bed (during heavy rain), mosquito netting had lots of holes so we slept in long shirts and pants). The kitchen area was a plastic bin with a lid (fridge substitute) but with a big crack at the bottom. When we washed our dinner and breakfast dishes outside the dirty water attracted dogs/animals and landed on your feet. The dirt road up was very long and in rainy conditions was very challenging even in a suv. A truck would be better. Horseback riding was in a nice area, but the “half day” was with the guide who walked on foot so only a short walk. We waited at the top viewpoint and saw beautiful vistas, butterflies and flowers while the guide had a break with a friend.

A great retreat away from the busy cities and the backpacker superhighway

The farm is an amazing place, far away from the cities it's great for relaxing and getting away from the backpacker superhighway. Really kind people living and working here who are great to chat to There are great tours that you can do. We especially enjoyed riding the horses and walking through the protected cloud Forrest.

The staff were lovely and tried to be helpful with everything that was going wrong

− Lots of things were broken. The water in the toilet wasn't working properly, there was a gas leak on the stove so we could only use one burner. The kitchen is outside so didn't include a fridge, we were welcomed to put things in the fridge at their house though. Perhaps I misunderstood (my Spanish is just barely passable) but we booked a horseback ride for my daughter and I and had to share a horse. I don't think we were asked if that was what we wanted. We still paid $30US. A few things that were neither good or bad but we would have liked to know beforehand. The owner was not at the property the whole time we stayed. Since I was corresponding with her I assumed she would be available (she speaks English but her staff doesn't). There is also no cell service at the property or anywhere near it so if you don't pay for the daily wifi you have no phone connection.
