4 traditional Javanese houses, an open air restaurant and a beautiful swimming pool. the place is very quite, surrounded by fields. it is outside of the tourist area, no restaurants nearby. Some French influence. The owner took good care.

− you need your own transport if you want venture beyond the village. room is bit dark.

A very relaxing and peaceful stay with lovely hosts

The Javanese hut we stayed in was very spacious, clean and complete with a large comfortable bed and good WiFi. We had a very peaceful stay at the ecolodge as it is set in nature near rice fields, however the town is only a 20 minute walk away. The pool was a big bonus for us - we loved waking up each morning to have a swim, the pool is long enough to do proper lengths! The hosts and the staff were so accommodating and friendly, they made us feel right at home. As we did not have scooters they offered to drive us to Tanah Lot and a local warung where they recommended we try the babi guling which was delicious. We ate dinner at the property each night and glad we did as the cooking was authentic and tasty. We loved the amount of fresh tropical fruit provided each day, the breakfast was generous and very good also.

− It was quite difficult to explore the area without scooters as we found that Grab did not work here. However this was not an issue due to the hospitality and kindness of the hosts and staff who gave us lifts to a couple of places that we wanted to go to.

What a gem, far away from the buzz of the coast situated in a rather untouched and authentic rural village between rice fields and banana plantation. Our hosts were very attentive and provided us with a lot of information and pleasant talks in the spacious open air living room. Sadieh and Agnes have created a beautiful garden with 4 Javanese houses with a nice porch to watch the birds and butterflies. The swimming pool is big enough to really swim and relax under a parasol. The direct surroundings are very beautiful and Kerambitan is a small city worth visiting. But the most worthwhile is the friendly and considerate care of our hosts. And be sure to have dinner, the cooking is great.
