8.0An exceptional location, as long as you like uninterrupted views and almost perfect silence!The lodges are quite unobtrusive, situated by a farm on a very quiet track. There is a welcome pack of local produce, and a pretty complete kitchen. The hot tub was a surprise addition, as it's not something we look for. We were able to explore the Mainland easily from the lodge, and then loved relaxing in the evening with a great view
− The lodge is small, but there is outdoor seating which we could use in the good weather. The bed is tired, as others have commented, and could do with being replaced. There is no coffee or tea making facility, apart from a kettle.
We loved relaxing in the hot tub each evening after exploring the beautiful island!

10.0Very clean and area was quiet. Very comfortable and everything needed for example: oven, hob, microwave, towels, bedding, kettle, toaster and even down to tea bags and coffee.

10.0Clean, cozy, well equipped and perfectly situated between Kirkwall and Stromness. Storage under the bed is great when you’re living in such a small space.
