10.0Absolutely stunning spot that has everything you need for a home away from home. We were a family group with ages 1 to 66 and the house was perfect. Great location, extremely well equipped, quiet and private, and awesome views.

7.0Lovely setting. Quaint cottage. Off the beaten track
− Difficulty contacting owners. Got a message that we would be messaged code for lockbox with key, but never received. Cottage open when we arrived but could not lock up when out for the day. Tried phoning owners, got recorded message to email, but still haven’t received a reply to our email.
Relaxing and peaceful.
10.0The house was comfortable and perfect for three people. The views are superb, one is able to look right down the coast and watch waves breaking on the cliffs in the distance. Being on a hillside in the middle of fields it was supremely peaceful, the only sounds being sheep and birds. The kitchen was very well equipped. The cafe just down the road was excellent.

4.0Central location for the Catlins and quiet. Well equipped kitchen.
− The beds were very hard leaving us unable to sleep. Definitely do not recommend for anyone with back problems or old bones. No wardrobe or shelves to unpack clothes. No kithcen pantry or cupboard to place food in.

Please note that the property suggests that guests bring their own food. Discount fuel, alcohol and limited groceries are available at the Papatowai Country Store, 1.2 mi away.
