Amazing place especially for dog owners
10.0Exceptional location lovely small shepherds hut, very clean. Amazing touch with home made lemon cake which was lovely and fresh flowers in the room. The best feature for us as a dog owner was the massive secure and private field for our old girl to explore and we knew she was safe! Will definitely be coming back!

A beautiful, historic and a relaxing stay.
10.0My partner and I absolutely loved the location and scenery. As the weather was beautifully warm, we enjoyed sitting outside until late at night star gazing and enjoying our surroundings. The Shepherd’s Hut was beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with homemade lemon cake, some refreshments such as tea, coffee and fresh milk. The couple who own The Shepherd’s Hut were very welcoming and spoke to us about the history of Sheriff Hutton Castle. We have every intention on coming back again.

10.0Absolutely stunning location. Quiet, calm and private setting and also very dog friendly. Shepherd’s Hut was clean and tidy and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly.
