10.0TBH, I was a bit skeptical as it's a boutique hotel but my goodness what a beautiful property. The interiors, furniture, outdoor garden were all splendidly done. Our kids loved the loft style bedroom. The breakfast wasn't buffet but it was the tastiest one I've had in my entire trip. Since the hotel was small and the guests were limited, we were treated very promptly for everything. Special mention to the staff who were very helpful in everything and also the restaurant team who packed some extra breakfast for my little fussy eaters.
− The AC wasn't able to cool our room. Had to request for portable coolers. The bathroom size was small as compared to the bedroom. Also the reception closes at 10-10:30 pm, so if u wander downstairs and see all the lights out then don't get spooked like me. But these were small inconveniences as compared to our entire stay.
Great boutique hotel next to the lake with friendly staff
10.0The location was great - right in front of the lake and a 15- 20-minute walk to the temple and city center. The staff was always attentive, kind, and helpful. We got a room upgrade because it was our honeymoon, and every time they made the room, they made sure to leave something special for us to enjoy. The breakfast was great in terms of taste and portions.

10.0We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Ru Boutique Hotel. Het hotel is prachtig ingericht in een sfeervolle koloniale stijl, waardoor het een unieke en luxe uitstraling heeft. Alles is netjes onderhouden, de kamers zijn comfortabel en we hebben heerlijk geslapen. Het ontbijt was iedere ochtend uitstekend verzorgd. Een speciaal compliment voor Thilina, die ons elke ochtend vriendelijk ontving en ervoor zorgde dat het ons aan niets ontbrak. Ook Isanka bij de receptie verdient een compliment. Het was fijn om steeds een vertrouwd en vriendelijk gezicht te zien, en ze stond altijd klaar om te helpen. De combinatie van de prachtige accommodatie, de gastvrijheid van het personeel en de ontspannen sfeer maakte ons verblijf echt bijzonder. Als we ooit terugkomen in Kandy, zouden we zonder twijfel opnieuw voor Ru Boutique Hotel kiezen.
Extraordinarily wonderful hotel
10.0Wonderful hotel in close proximity to the lake in Kandy and walkable to the temple of the tooth. Beautifully decorated. Quiet but luxurious feel. Superb Service by the staff in the hotel, particularly thalini for his amazing Breakfast Service. And impeccable service and care from Isanka. Thoroughly recommend.
Fijn verblijf in het drukke Kandy
8.0Ligt aan Kandy lake en op loopafstand van bezienswaardigheden. Mooi ingericht, schoon, vriendelijk personeel. We kregen een gratis upgrade van onze kamer.
− Het zwembad is erg klein. Het hotel ligt aan drukke weg. Oversteken om op de stoep te komen is een spannende actie….
