10.0My husband and I stayed at this beautiful safari lodge to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. There was constant but thoughtful checking in on our needs, from the welcoming drinks on arrival to the warm and friendly goodbye when we left. The safari drives were a highlight of our stay. John’s knowledge, passion, and storytelling made each drive both exciting and informative, and we learned so much while enjoying incredible wildlife experiences. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully set up, making it the perfect place to relax. The lodge itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. The hosts and staff truly made us feel at home. The food was very good and tasty, and clearly prepared with care. A special thank you to the hosts John and his wife Nikita, as well as Jan-Hendrik, Francios, and all the other staff that played a part in making our stay so memorable. We left feeling relaxed, spoiled, and grateful for such a wonderful anniversary experience. We would highly recommend this lodge and would love to return

10.0Thank you so much for this special overnight stay in a naturally secluded area. We appreciated the exceptional hospitality and the shared dinner with our later barbecue companions. A truly special stay on our trip with wonderful people. Thank you also for the amazing tip to visit Addo Elephant National Park in 37-degree so we see over 150 elephants and a lioness. An oasis in the middle of the Karoo
10.0Rob and staff were wonderful hosts, and the food was delicious, making full use of local ingredients. Don’t forget to buy some of the biltong and droëwors they make on site. Connor, one of the professional hunters, took me on a game drive. Highlight of the stay! I am not a hunter but he gave me fascinating insights into the sustainable operation of the farm and breeding of the animals. I will definitely stay again if I am in the area and will bring the family next time.
We highly recommend this absolutely fantastic place and really hope we will be back!
10.0It was a high-class but still very familiar and genuine/authentic atmosphere. The rooms were large and nice and the food was absolutely fantastic. We will never forget the dinner by the open fire "Boma". We felt very welcome by Rob and Laura with staff. Unbelievably beautiful surroundings and the experience of being far out in the wilderness was definitely worth the detour.
− We cant come up with anything we think could been done better. The only thing is that we regret not planning for joining a morning hunt.
