10.0Lovely facility. Luxurious rooms. Daniel, Nelson and theor team were wonderful. Beautiful viewing deck where we saw buffalo, eland, springbuk, letchwe and kudu with a spectacular sunset. The food is a bit pricey but excellent.

9.0The staff at Gamagara Private Nature reserve are probably the friendliest people we have ever encountered. It was such a joy. The food is home cooked and plentiful. Beautiful farm with gamedrives available. Keep in mind that it is 1 star hotel so the accommodation is pretty basic, towels a little threadbare, but everything is clean.

Don’t let the 12 km bumpy road put you off — it’s absolutely worth it.
8.0We stayed at Gamagara for two nights in December and had a wonderful experience. The staff and service were exceptional, and we enjoyed all our meals at the restaurant. We went on one of their game drives and saw a good variety of animals; although we only spotted the white rhino the following day as we were leaving, it still felt special. The bed was very comfortable, complete with a mosquito net and great pillows. Don’t let the 12 km bumpy road put you off — it’s absolutely worth it.
