8.0Lovely lady who runs it. Good bakery down the road and onsen near. Easy to get to the slopes and hire gear etc,
− Nozawa is pretty hilly making the walk to the slopes a little longer then expected and we were confused about the buses. Still completely manageable and worth it considering the price of all other accommodation available for our dates
The place was quiet, clean and a short walk to restaurants in the town centre.

9.0This lodge was kind enough to host a group of 20 of us. It was very easy to get in touch with the lodge owner and she got us discounted lift tickets. We also found the lodge to be in a very good state and the rooms were very comfortable and well taken care of. The lodge owner went out of her way to have some luggage delivered to the local post office.
− Maybe because the owner was the single worker at the lodge, we could not get a meal plan. Our room could have used with some curtains to block the light.
