Aanrader! Geweldige sfeer
It was not what we expected: disappointing.
5.0Sinah from reception was always friendly and helpful. Game drive was lovely.
− The accommodation was sub-standard. For the price we paid we were very disappointed. The linen is very old and definitely needs upgrading. Nothing seemed to match. We were advised there was a coffee machine which there was not. Not sure if coffee was supposed to be supplied but there was exactly 1 stick of coffee in the containers. We had to go out and buy our own coffee. There were a few mugs and glasses, nothing else. No cutlery at all. Not even a dish towel or dish soap to wash the used cups. The cooked breakfast was average. The food was mostly cold unfortunately. Eggs were pre-cooked so were cold when dished up. Restaurant service and staff and kitchen need more training.
Kwalata getaway.
10.0Staff were friendly. Accommodation was good. Facilities great.
− All met our expectations.
A wonderful spoil
9.0The friendly staff, the unique environment, the good food. The bird life was wonderful. The mongoose was facinating. Seeing the whistling ducks in the dam was fantastic. The statues and carvings are unique. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We loved our time at Kwalata and we'll be back.
− Advertised as self catering but 3 teaspoons and a fork don't make a unit self catering. The kitchen distance from the dining room meant the food was never piping hot. Would have been nice to have an outside plastic table. The bench in the boma was not comfortable.
