8.0Really cold night but fire in lounge was awesome!
It's a wonderful stay!
8.0The motel is very easy to locate, close to a supermarket and whale-watching gathering point. It has a front and a back yard, and both offer several rooms. The room is big enough to accommodate four to six people. A big kitchen is available at any time. The boss has lovely kids, and they are all friendly!

Peaceful; handy to services; now my go-to in Kaikoura
8.0Really good price; I had a large room to myself; there was plenty of room for my bike in the room or on the deck outside; I like being able to hear the trains. Sunny room with a view.
− The yard is a bit untidy, although the guest areas are all up to scratch. It was a bit tricky getting my bike up the steps to the deck (heavy e-bike); the steps to the kitchen from the deck are awkward and the lighting not that good
