Beautiful house, peaceful area but maintence required.

- incredible architecture inspired renovated home. Beautiful and beautiful glass windows with expansive views over the mountains. Glorouis terraces and cactus garden + pool. - a huge space with many rooms to relax, dine, and drink coffee and admire the mountains. - beautiful location, very peaceful but close to the village and nearby town for amenities. Approx 25mins to the airport and also beaches.

− - a stunning house, sadly let down by some very basic maintenance and repair which can EASILY be fixed. - there were no pillows in the master bedroom, only sofa cushions... There were 2 pillows in the single beds (old & and thin needing replaced) , ideally there should be 2 pillows per bed and 4 for a double so total 8 pillows. - the double bed mattress was very old and uncomfortable, a simple upgrade from ikea (located on the island) would had been amazing. We slept poorly here due to the mattress and lack of pillows. - the pool was not cleaned on arrival, had to negotiate several times to get it cleaned, ended up cleaning ourselves, this was frustrating. - several items were broken, external courtyard door handle, outdoor loghtings, towel rails in the bathroom etc. - the kichen air extractor hood was filled with grease. - there was no cleaning spray or kitchen roll to clean whilst we were there, no hand soap in the kitchen. These are all basic fixes to improve the experience and the owner could charge more if these were fixed. We had a lovely stay despite these but couldn't help thinking what an incredible house this is and it was being let down by maintenance and nothing else.

Very authentic house

The house is like nothing we've seen before. The architecture, planning and design were very interesting. If you want to experience authentic canarian culture, this is the perfect place. The kitchen fully equipped, there is literally everything you might need to cook. The volcano view is stunning. The house is remote and very silent.

− No mosquito nets on the windows. The pool wasn't heated and the water was cold. So we couldn't use it. We didn't like that there was no privacy in the house. The bathroom (although with a very interesting design) did not have privacy, with no door and a very large window overlooking the patio. So going with small kids is not great, because they have to sleep in the house across the patio. Going with friends is not perfect, because of the lack of privacy.

Good but please invest a bit for the price you charge

Lovely spacious property , nice quiet location ,nice kitchen facilities , comfy sofas ,bedroom 1 was nice .

− Second bedroom beds too uncomfortable so 2 people slept on comfy sofa . They need to invest in towels , bedding proper blankets and duvets and new mattresses for second bedroom
