Good pool

− Our visit was pretty disappointing. When we arrived, the cabin was dirty and not prepared (even though we came much later after check in), administration was not aware of us coming. We were waiting one hour on the sun while the cabin was cleaned. Even though we asked for one cabin closer to the pool, we were given the other one - the most further from the pool. And all the cabins were empty except one. Around cabin was garbage on the grass. Cleaning of the cabin was very superficial, kitchen utensils were dirty when we received the keys. The sink was dirty and we found a cigarette behind it a bit after. Cabin has kettle and microwave, pretty good parilla, but no stove. There were only two plates, two knives and two forks, no cutting board, or, at least, extra plate. We have stayed 5 nights, and at some moment we were proposed to have the sheets and towels changed (which we agreed too), however no one came in the end. Some nights the watering system of the grass becomes a flood, so you can walk only barefoot in the evening. The most important thing is when the administrator gave us the keys, he announced price which were 1.5 times more that was counted by booking (and that including VAT and cleaning that we were told that we need to pay after booking the place). When we told that it's not the price that we were expecting, we were waiting for 2 hours for owner to connect with us. In the end, we connected with owner ourselves to negotiate. Luckily, we have agreed on the price with the owner in the end. As we were traveling as a group of friends, we have told the administrator that the next day comes another person and the next day we have updated the administrator that this person is going to come in one hour. As expected, the cabin was not ready when she came, so she had to wait with us for the cabin cleaning as well. In the end, she received the cabin with dirty sheets as they were not changed after previous guests.

We liked the swimming pool and the calmness.

− We booked with free breakfast but on site they told us they don't do breakfast anymore. This was a dissapointment because it was tough to find a supermarket nearby and there was rarely equipment to prepare breakfast yourself. Owners were not really helpful to provide us with information or tips in the region. It appears that our experience didn't match with other reviews.

It’s a wonderful place!

We stayed at the complex in January. My friends and I came with our families to have a great time and ended up renting five cottages! The location is fantastic – on one side, there’s an olive field, and on the other, a vineyard. There are plum and olive trees growing on the property – the kids were amazed and absolutely delighted. The cottages are very cozy and European in style. Every day, we cooked on the grill and enjoyed the natural surroundings. The sunsets are masterpieces, and behind the cottages, you can see snow-capped mountains! It's magical.

− There were a couple of non-working appliances – in one cottage, the refrigerator wasn’t working, and in another, the kettle. However, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. I believe the complex will fix the faulty items.

Great value for a serene pool holiday.

We had an amazing few days here lazing by the lovely swimming pool and having bbqs. If you want a simple break to read by a pool, this is great value for money. Don’t expect luxury, as everything is a little tired and bare, but for the price it was AMAZING. Pool was clean and had a little shade. Really cute friendly dogs running around the place. Owner was friendly. Property is super peaceful. We didn’t have a car so bought all food in advance as is very remote. It is close enough to walk to a few of the major vineyards.

− - know that you have to pay in cash, we had to drive 30 minutes to pay by card and ended up paying £10 extra on top (maybe due to changing exchange rate). Also had to pay for taxi. - no cooking facilities apart from the bbq & microwave - you need to bring equipment to cook with, e.g. chopping boards, bowls, chopping knives. They have 1x plate, knife, fork, mug and spoon per person, so it’s very minimal but can make do. - would have loved more shade by the pool, as this was limited so only a couple of guests could have shade at a time

Good value for money for a weekend getaway.

Mauricio and his team are friendly and go out of their way to help you out. The private grill and patio is a great touch and it’s lovely to catch the sunrise in the morning through the window. The A/C was great and we were even a little too warm at times. We went in the winter so we didn’t get to enjoy it, but the pool area looks great.

− Hot water lasts about 3 minutes in the shower and takes a while to heat up again. Probably not a big deal in the summer, but a bit of a bummer in the winter. Make sure to book all your drives in advance if you don’t have a car because the property is in a bit of a remote location (which is nice for the quiet). Payment is cash or bank transfer only, so make sure to keep that in mind.
