This was a very special place to stay, combining peace, charm, comfort, and a fantastic location
9.0A wonderful location with stunning views over Bath. The cottage is full of character, rustic but very cosy, and offers everything needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the thoughtful extras, comfortable beds, great shower, and beautiful garden. The peaceful and private setting, reached via a charming private driveway, was a real highlight while still being close enough to walk into the city.
− The property has a lot of charm and could perhaps benefit from a little extra care in some areas, but this was only a small point. We especially loved the garden and the peaceful atmosphere. The small seating area was a little overgrown, but it did not take away from the overall experience. The walk down into the city was lovely, although the return walk was a little more demanding in the 30°C heat.

4.0The location is stunning. Low price for Bath accommodation. Very peaceful and quiet.
− The cleanliness was very poor. A previous customer had written the word dust on the tv unit. There was a dead moth next to the bed. Several hairs long and short in the bedding. I had to hoover the full accommodation on arrival which was not ideal in the heat and on my holidays as we have a young child. Cobwebs in every room. The garden was especially upsetting as we thought our toddler would be able to play out from the pictures and it was overgrown and unusable for a family due to spiky weeds etc on the path down and high grass. Views from the living room were hindered by overgrown bushes. This cottage has so much potential but needs a deep clean and some maintenance.

10.0Loved the garden although a little overgrown by the table to sit on. A lovely walk down to the town.
Schitterd gelegen huis
10.0Het huisje is echt schitterend gelegen: helemaal in het groen op de Widcombe heuvel met een prachtig uitzicht op Bath! De keuken is goed uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt. Er gaat elk uur een bus ( lijn 20), vooral de heuvel op is dat erg fijn; anders is het een half uur lopen vanuit Bath. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten en verlangen nu al terg naar deze mooie plek
