Great Stay with Family
9.0Loved staying in the lodge, stayed many years ago and this was my second time staying here. All 3 bedrooms were decent sized and had an en suite. Small kitchenette that served its purpose. Cooker, under counter fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster. Everything was clean and tidy. It was very quiet despite all the lodges being occupied. Within walking distance of the other hotels, restaurants and play park for the kids. You also get use of the swimming pool, gym and sauna. Would happily stay again.
− Only negative was the front door could be a bit difficult to lock and one of the heaters had come away from the wall.

− The fridge was very very smelly, you could only use one of the 3 showers at a time and the electricity kept tripping when you used the cooker

− The whole complex is very worn. Gym is a joke and honestly the pace needs a refurb. I was also staggered that there is no washing machine in the hut or anywhere in the complex.

8.0Fantastic location. Great space. Woodland lodges are good for kids - they are a bit worn around the edges and could do with a refresh, but that adds to the charm and means you can relax with the kids running around. Comfy beds. Swimming pool facility is really good.

The credit/debit card used to book the Advance Purchase rate must be presented to reception on arrival at the hotel. Please note that failure to do so will result in an alternative payment method being required.
Please be aware that Thunder in the Glens event will be taking place on resort from the 22nd - 24th August 2025 inclusive. This event will cause elevated noise levels due to being a motorcycle event, and there will also be live music being played around the resort until late evening.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
