Escape the world BUT it comes at a cost

Excellent spot if you want to completely disconnect from the world. Beautifully remote & serene environment (albeit VERY far from the sea, supermarkets etc.; you ABSOLUTELY need a car and would NOT recommend driving in & out of the property at night: there are no street lights and roads are old, small, dangerous).

− The property is not well maintained and requires serious work (e.g. the kitchen vent blows inside the kitchen, the pool cleaning system broke down, the screens on the windows for the bugs were all ripped, the mattresses are extremely stained & old, the garden is not “green” as shown, it’s just left without any care). To top that, given how far out in nature it is, understandably there are rodents. Unfortunately, these were trapped between the tiles and the roof and the noises from them running around and trying to escape day & night ruined our holiday. WiFi is choppy at best and does not reach the pool. The description is also misleading because there is no sea view.

Lovely country cottage in serene surroundings.

Quiet remote location in beautiful setting amongst olive groves. Country cottage with charm rather than luxury, but nicely furnished. The winding road is worth the trip. An array of beaches can easily be reached by car, together with taverns or restaurants. Well equipped if wishing to BBQ or cook. Cool shaded terrace and cleaning service is great.

− Noisy pool pump can be disturbing Dangerously slippery concrete deck around pool when wet.

Almost everything - quiteness, views, the house, terrace, pool

− The cleaning was supposed to be done after 3 days, but no towels changed, we also had to ask to change bedding Also, our checkout time was 11AM, but the cleaning couple was waiting at the pool an our eatlier, whete we wanted to drink coffee privately before leaving. This was a bit unpleasant.
