8.0− Gym should be included into the accommodation bill as an extra or value add, not to pay for usage. But everything else was very good.
Eine schöne Lodge ohne Herz
6.0Wir hatten ein schönes, komfortables Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Die Gesamtanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt mit viel Grün. Es gibt einen tollen, sehr großen Pool, welchen wir wegen des schlechten Wetters leider nicht nutzen konnten. Allerdings befindet er sich direkt unterhalb der Restaurant- Terrasse.
− Das Haus scheint für Business Reisende unter der Woche und größere Events am Wochenende ausgelegt zu sein(?). Frühstück gibt es nur bis 8:30 Uhr. Ab 14:00 bekommt man auf der Terrasse Getränke. Allerdings wartete ich auf meinen um kurz nach 14:00 Uhr bestellten Kaffee 45 Minuten. „Die Kaffeemaschine würde so lange zum Aufheizen brauchen.“ Um Punkt 14:00 begann der Garten-Mitarbeiter auch direkt vor der Terrasse mit ohrenbetäubendem Lärm mittels Rasenmäher und Laubbläser und zwar eine geschlagene Stunde lang. Es war kaum auszuhalten. Für ein Haus, welches tranquility und peacefulness zu seinen Stärken zählt, etwas eigenartig. Zum Abendessen wurde kein a la carte sondern nur ein Braai angeboten, allerdings von der allereinfachsten Art. Es gab recht zähes Lamm, passable Hühnchenteile( leider recht kalt), bockige Boerewors, grünen und Kartoffelsalat sowie Knoblauchbrot. Das war‘s. Kein Dessert, keinerlei grillfreie Alternativen. Ein Business Hotel, keine echte Gastlichkeit, wir fühlten uns nicht wohl. Schade, denn es könnte echt vom Ambiente her ein wunderbares Haus sein.
