6.0Die Lage und die Volunteers und die Köchinnen waren sehr nett! Das Essen im Restaurant hervorragend. Ich hatte einen Unfall und dank den Volunteers Gaby und Eva wurde sich gut gekümmert um mich. Auch als ich kein Wasser mehr hatte halfen sie mir. Ich kann die Volunteers von Herzen empfehlen, die Unterkunft aber nicht unbedingt. Nett war dass mein Transfer übernommen wurde wegen dem Unfall (60k). Eine nette Geste der Besitzerin.
− Die Intransparenz der Preise und die Art der Kommunikation von den Owners. Sehr bestimmend und zurechtweisend. Der Preis ist übrigens Wucher. Unterkünfte neben an sind genauso schön und ruhig aber kosten die Hälfte. Die Owner überschätzen das Ganze und machen zwar super Werbung aber ist man dort ist die Stimmung sehr kühl und uninteressiert. Vielleicht wars früher mal nicht so aber es ist sicherlich nicht mehr das was in den Blogs angepriesen wird. Schade! Wegen den Preisen, es war auch mein Fehler. Ich dachte es wäre mindestens das Surfen inklusive bei dem hohen Preis. Ist aber nicht so. Plus sind die Surfbretter auch von sehr schlechter Qualität (haben Risse, Finnen kabutt...). Ich ging aus Sorge noch für alte Schäden auch bezahlen zu müssen nicht surfen, weil die Besitzerin mich gewarnt hat dass man bei Schäden aufkommen muss. Ein Abendessen kostet extra 45k. Und man wird wegen der Distanz zum Dorf und der Zugänglichkeit mit Flut dort essen "müssen". Frühstück ist inklusive wäre aber 20k im Dorf. Fazit: Würde nicht wiederkommen. Mir persönlich ist es viel zu teuer für das was es schlussendlich wirklich ist. Da gibts neben an bessere Optionen.

10.0El Vijo is a paradise, I would especially recommend it for groups and couples. It is about a 20 mins walk to the next (very) small village, although the walk is not always possible due to the tide. Adolpho and Deude did an amazing job. The food was delicious and Adolpho very kind and helpful. As a solo traveller I would recommend somewhere else but for couples seeking tranquility or groups of friends looking for an amazing experience I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there.

10.0This is a trip that is one of those you never forget. Staying at this hotel was surreal, I mean, you are in the middle of the jungle where you hear the sounds of nature like never before. Staff was awesome, we were very well taken care and the food was insanely delicious! Rooms were nice and clean!
− Maybe it's just me but I found boat transportation a little bit expensive, it was supposed to be private also, however it was not the case (it was shared both inbound/outbound). It's not big deal but I found this odd.

10.0Amazing stay with Bea and Carlos. What a unexplored paradise! We started our trip of 3,5 weeks in El Vijo and what a way of disconnecting from everything! The kindness of the host and the incredible wildlife make this place so special! Just to get there is an expedition but my it is worth it!
