Disappointing and run down but price was good.
4.0It was in a quiet beachside location. just not what i was expecting. Very rustic and wild.
− It would be great for surfers but it wasn’t comfortable climbing up and down narrow bamboo stairs to go to the outside shared bathroom. Sheets were clean but had cigarette burn holes in the and mosquito net not clean and covered in blood stains. The grounds are not really kept nice and it’s more remote than suited us. However we slept well and enjoyed the ocean sounds. Looks way better in the photos

4.0Beachfront location in a natural setting. Possibly a good option if you are a surfer (and have a better room than I did!)
− I had high hopes given the photos and location but was very disappointed. I booked the double room in the main building, which literally flooded from overnight rain (because the grass roof on the building is long overdue for replacement and leaking very badly.) The water came in under the door from the hall outside and I had to put a towel across to try and stop it. The staff were unconcerned and did nothing to help beside give me an extra towel. They clearly were used to it! I ended up packing up to leave in about 1cm of water across most of the floor. A room with issues like this should not be listed and sold to members of the public. This is bad faith business practice! Overall it seems the staff are focussed on the surfers and public visitors at their little warung on the beach. I had 2 meals there and unfortunately both were bland/tasteless and overpriced. Both WiFi and phone reception in my room were non-existent so I had to walk down to the beach to do anything online. Not ideal in rainy conditions.
