Nous avons passé un séjour idéal . La vue sur la mer. L'emplacement du logement dans un quartier très calme , à 5 minutes des commerces , du port de pêche, de la plage . Un jardin bien entretenu et quelques fruits exotiques à découvrir.

− Tout était à notre convenance et notre hôte très disponible et agréable. Rien à redire.

Très bien positionné vu sur mer

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à La villa Larimar. La maison est bien placée, au calme au fond d’une impasse et à courte distance de tout ( centre-ville, plages…) Une supérette et un marchand de fruits et légumes sont à l’entrée de l’impasse, idéal pour se dépanner. La cuisine est bien équipée, les lits confortables et la terrasse super agréable ! Les propriétaires sont très sympas, réactives et arrangeantes. Bref, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !!!

Lovely welcoming property with a homely feel in a quiet location

We were met by our lovely host waiting for us on arrival (hence the need to say roughly what time you are arriving), her young nephews helped with some of the translation as we're not very good with French, but we muddled through with the essentials. Lovely property, views of the sea in the distance. There are two handy shops at the end of the quiet road (one a greengrocers and the other a convenience store), although the Carrefour is not not far away. Boulangerie L'Epi about a 5 min walk for fresh bread every morning. The location is on a quiet residential street. Raisin Clair beach is an easy 15 minute walk away, the Marina (where most of the nightlife/restaurants are) is about 15 minutes the other direction - a little tricky to find your way as there are a lot of little streets you can cut through but it felt safe enough to wander around. Property itself had everything we could need, comfortable to spend the evenings in or on the balcony. There's a massive garden, but we didn't make use of it but maybe useful if you have kids that you want out of the way.

− We had a couple of short power cuts (I assume it happens regularly in Saint Francois as it took out all the marina restaurants one evening too), but the host had provided a battery torch so you don't have to be sat in the dark, and there is a gas hob so you could still cook something. You can't drink the tap water (it is from the storage cistern), but at least you have water if there is an outage. You can buy water easy enough from the local shops. Wasn't a problem for us.
