Great holiday in a fantastic location

The villa has superb outdoor space. The pool and shower area were well maintained with plenty space around it in either sun or shade. The comfortable covered outdoor space and dining area were also well used. It is unusual to find such good outdoor space in a one bedroom villa and for us this was a great bonus. It was what attracted us to book the property and were not disappointed. There is a supermarket literally just a few minutes walk away with another two within a short stroll. We ate in a variety of restaurants which were once again within comfortable walking distance and all were good. We used our car to get out and about to see different parts of the island but wouldn't have needed it if we had not wanted to explore further afield. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we asked - an almost immediate response each time. We did not have to contact them for any issues as thankfully there was nothing wrong.

− We were a little disappointed with the indoor bathroom. It could be doing with a bit of updating and probably lets the villa down. My wife is not a fan of shower curtains and it was difficult to avoid contact with it in a small area. The hot water pressure to the shower was also weak. To be fair we didn't report this so perhaps it was an issue that could have been resolved. The only other thing which we noticed - but which could not be avoided and is a trade off for the fabulous location - is the noise from the road when you were outside. We are not near a road at home but quickly tuned the sound out and it did not disturb us inside when the windows and doors were closed.

− In a purely constructive way, the shower curtain had black mould on the base hem & for a villa, there should be shower doors fitted, not a flimsy curtain. The soap dish on the shower wall is falling off. The bathroom could do with modernising. The location of the microwave had no plug socket, so reconfiguring the kitchen is a must. Outdoor sunbeds need a comfortable cushion on them. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and were treated very hospitally by Mrs Kelly. The seaview from the villa is magnificent & we had a fabulous holiday.

The Villa was absolutely gorgeous, a beautiful outside space with a wonderful private pool looking out over the hills and the beach and the sea. Great areas for eating food outside and sunbathing, an outdoor shower and covered areas to be out of the sun as well. Location was great, located directly above the main beach and some absolutely amazing brach restourants, so chill and amazing food at Verde Blu. Also 5 min drive to the main strip with lots of shops and cafes and a pub. About 35 min drive to Corfu Old Town and Marina. Sweet little dining area inside and living space. Staff were very lovely, and attentive, I would definitely book again as it's likely going to be one of the most beautiful locations and wonderful places to stay in Corfu.

− Checking into the Villa I used the keycode to get into the keysafe, however the key wasn't in there. The key was already in the door, which did make me feel a bit unsafe as anyone could have entered, I didn't arrive til 1am due to flight delays. There was a bit of rubbish on the floor when we checked in, and some of the plates weren't washed well, but other than that it was very clean, and the beds were spotless and made well. We were however missing a sheet for the third bed, which was brought to us later in the stay. In the last few days our water turned off a few times, but calling the landlords this was sorted quickly each time. When making the booking on booking.com, the price included taxes, however after booking we received a message saying there would be an extra tax that could be paid by tax. I rang booking.com to let them know and they said there shouldn't be extra charges, on the last day of the stay the landlord came to collect the extra charge and it was only €12 so I gave it to her, but do be aware to have some cash handy.

− Inside accommodation not as good as outside. Sofa hard, bathroom small, kitchen could be better equipped. Very steep to beach!
