9.0Location was brilliant with it being near shops and only a short drive to Windermere lake! The facilities in this accommodation were perfect, I can't fault anything as everything was hygienic and very well looked after. Great communication from hosts too!
More little touches needed for price
8.0Beautiful barn, comfy beds, nice showers, nice little village close to windermere and bowness
− Cleanliness mostly great but some dog poo in the courtyard and outside front door (in a poo bag) sock behind headboard of our bed. Facilities- sofa very low which was a problem for some of our party, nowhere near enough teabags for 5 people for 2 nights, had to buy salt, vinegar, dishcloth too. Just a note, we've stayed many places and there has mostly been enough kindling and logs for 1 fire and some sort of welcome hamper. For the price I would have expected more.
Unbelievable stay with friends, we loved the bar and view by the river.

− Nothing to dislike. All i would say is leave some washing up liquid and cleaning spray so guests can clean a little better before they leave.
Lovely location but could do with some maintenance.
7.0Great location, comfortable house.
− Unfortunately, 1 of the showers didn’t work properly (stuck on hot setting) so 2 couples had to share 1 of the bathrooms. The shower in bedroom 2 leaked over the floor every time it was used so we had to mop it, & the main bathroom leaks and caused a water stain. Not enough dinner / side plates for our party of 6. No bin in the kitchen so we had a bin bag constantly out & kitchen sink plug doesn’t fit so impossible to fill sink to wash up. Bedroom 2 wall & ceiling lights flicker.
