Great host and villa and fantastic view

Soula was very friendly and helpful and gave excellent tourist advice . The view of Souda bay is fantastic and there are local bars and restaurants 10-15 mins by car.

− My stay was in February and the weather occasionally was quite cold. The villa would be super for the warm Summer but the heating could be better for the Spring. The kitchen prepration area is relatively small if 6 people were dining, but this may not be an issue in the Summer with many local restaurants and a bar-b-q facility in the villa.

- moderne Villa mit wunderschöner Meersicht - gute Lage: Mini Market, Restaurants und kleine Badebucht zu Fuss in 5 Minuten erreichbar - Billard Tisch (ein Highlight!) - Küchengeräte (Ofen, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, usw.) - Schöner Pool (war Mitte Oktober aber schon sehr kühl)

− - wenig Trinkgläser und Tassen - Badezimmertüren können nicht verriegelt werden - Baustelle in unmittelbarer Nähe (wobei der Lärmpegel gering war)

A really lovely villa in an excellent location

The villa is in a stunning location with everything you need just a short walk away. Almyrida is a longer walk but is possible and has a lovely beach & restaurants. The pool was fantastic and there is ample outside furniture and space to enjoy meals and the sunsets. Soula was an amazing host and any issues we had were resolved very quickly. She was also on hand to answer any questions and went above and beyond to help us store our luggage in Chania whilst we waited for our flight home. She also arranged car rental - highly recommended!

− There wasn’t enough storage for a family of 5. Only one room has wardrobe space so with 3 kids it felt like clothes were scattered. Also there is no where to hang towels in the bathroom. The 3rd bedroom is where the pool table & gym equipment are so for the one early riser in our family who likes to exercise first thing, this didn’t work well. Both these issues didn’t have a negative impact on the holiday though.

Wonderful location and great host

Soula was a wonderful host: she met us at the villa, showed us where everything was and also provided advice on things to do. She was on hand for questions and responded very quickly throughout our stay. The property is one of the nicest we’ve stayed at, with everything you need and lovely views out to the bay and sunsets. The swimming pool is a good size and there is a lot of very comfortable poolside furniture to sprawl on. The billiards table and table football in the downstairs gym were an added bonus and used every day. Plaka is small but has a welcoming atmosphere and good restaurants a ten minute walk from the villa. We also walked down to Almyrida beach (about 25 mins or a five minute drive) which has also lovely restaurants right by the sea. Chania is about 30 mins drive if you have a car. The villa is also well positioned for visits to Aptera archaeological site. We loved our stay and would definitely book with Soula again.

SOula our host was loveley and very helpful. Crete is beautiful, lots within driving distance of the villa Definitely need a car and be ok with driving on windy roads. Arrival was all good, you need to insert the square key fob in a holder in the living room to get the air con to work which is a useful energy saving option.

Wonderful view and peacefully! 20 minutes walk to Almyrida beach witch was a great facility. Wonderful and very clean pool. Spectacular sunset every evening. 10 minutes walk to local spectacular Tavernas and supermarket
