Good location, easy walk to town, nice and quiet, very spacious

− There was a very overpowering smell of bleach in the kitchen area, I had to clean out the fridge before I could put our food in it. The hot tub area really needed so maintenance, lots of weeds and the hot tub cover was in very poor condition.

Absolute gem of a property, perfect for a mixture of quaint and luxury right by everything you need.

This is an utterly incredible villa. We arrived in the evening, snow and lights twinkling, we were absolutely delighted that we had managed to book such a gem last minute. The property was stunning, a gorgeous surprise. Every single room is like finding a new delight, it is incredible. Little touches like all the fuel ready for the fire, books on local walks, family game boards. This is the most perfect stay in Bowness, so quaint and traditional, has such beautiful original features with gorgeous luxurious modern touches, you are literally in your own little world. The property is incredibly well equipped, very clean, spacious, and just so stunning, peaceful and relaxing. It is a quick 2 minute drive from Bowness, a perfect location for peace and exploring.

Cosy Christmas stay

We loved the accommodation and how festive it was. Loved the Christmas tree in the lounge and wood burner, along with the hot tub and bath in the bedroom.

− A few simple things for the price point of the accommodation, such as tea towels, dish cloths and fresh milk in the fridge. Also curtains did not fully close and a table by the bath and hot tub would have been appreciated.

Great location close to all the hot-spots in windermere as well as very quiet farm getaway.

− The lass, more so than me, was very bothered by the fact the bathroom didn't have a door.

Beautiful accommodation with everything you could possibly wish for for a lovely relaxing getaway. Nice quiet location but just a short walk to the middle of Windermere.
