Our stay at the Stone House on Hvar was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The house is beautifully restored, spotless, and full of authentic charm while still offering every modern comfort you could need. The location was perfect—peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to explore the island’s beautiful beaches, villages, and restaurants. Waking up to the stunning surroundings each morning was a highlight of our trip. The hosts were exceptional: warm, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. They provided wonderful recommendations and made everything effortless from check-in to departure. This was one of the best accommodations we’ve ever stayed in, and it made our time on Hvar truly unforgettable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, comfortable, and beautiful place to experience the island. Thank you for such a wonderful stay—we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location and superb facilities

This property was even more beautiful than the pictures show. The view over Jelsa and the sea beyond is stunning. The sauna was lovely and got up to 90 degrees, and the pool just outside was a great way to start the morning. The beautiful flowers attracted lots of butterflies and made this even more picturesque. Would 100% visit again, Nikolina was a very responsive, helpful and friendly host.

− There were no downsides to the property, we had an issue with the fridge at one point and lost a bit of food, but this was dealt with quickly by Nikolina so not an issue.

What I liked most about the villa was how beautifully designed and well-equipped it was. It felt like a true home away from home: spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The outdoor areas were perfect for relaxing together as a group, and the views were just stunning. I also really appreciated how flexible and helpful the owner was throughout our stay, which made everything so much easier. Honestly, everything we needed was there, it made the whole experience seamless and special.

Very enjoyable stay for our large family group! We had 7 adults and 5 children who all enjoyed the stay greatly. The pool and sauna were a highlight! The playground area was perfect for the younger children.

− Microwave and some plastic cutlery and plates would be nice for the children

I only Like where the property si Located

− There Are a lot of things i didn’t Like about the property starting with the service for the high price i paid. No towels to start with. The shower water was very Cold. The internet was very Poor. No working Television what so ever. No bathroom tissues. The beds were very uncomfortable the quality was very Poor over ALL. For the high price we paid we axpected something very high. I will never recomend this propery to anyone. My uncle was visiting grom Canada AND the owner was so rude that My uncle Said we will see YOU next year AND the owner told him no please dont come back. We booked this property 4 months ago AND the owner took 500 deposite AND She tried her best not to give uš back the deposite AND this not acceptable at all. We will never to back just Because how we were treated badly by this owner WHO Has no manners.
