− Kids can’t play in pool due to height else everything is just perfect. Food ordered from nearby was not good and better prepare yourself or order by your own. But that did not impact our fun at all.
Our stay in Rockhouse!
1.0− This property was awfully expensive but we chose it for our family outing based on the photographs and the reviews posted. However our holiday didn't go as well as we thought. Firstly locating the property was a problem. The location provided was 20 mins away from the actual property which we found after a lot of coordination with the caretaker. We felt the garden wasn't that well kept compared to the properties around. There were layers of dust on the furniture and around the TV unit. In fact we even found food morsels (perhaps from the last guest) all over the floor in the living room which shows the poor housekeeping. The mosquito net on one of the sliding doors was torn and mosquitoes were coming in. The worst was the kitchen. There was no dustbin provided on the first day. The area below the sink was a nightmare with fungus growing there. The kitchen top was dirty and one packet of sugar, 2 sachets of milk powder, and a little packet of tea leaves was kept all tied with rubberbands. That entire area including the oven, microwave, kettle, gas was stained, greasy and dirty. The caretaker was extremely rude since we refused to pay him Rs.500 extra for utensil washing and said we would do it ourselves. And he didn't even send any housekeeping staff to our property the next day for any cleaning. On the day of the checkout when we asked him the reason he said the staff were busy cleaning other bungalows. Overall we felt very cheated. For the price we paid that was not the quality of service and amenities expected.
