Impeccable hosting in a stunning setting, five stars all round.
10.0The hosting was impeccable from start to finish. We were looked after and heard at every turn, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Villa Danica itself is stunning, the pool and setting exceeded our expectations, and the listing photos were a great representation of what’s actually there. It’s also a fantastic base for exploring the region, with Bosnia and Herzegovina close by and well worth the detour for anyone staying here.
− The only thing outside the hosts’ control was full flexibility over the air conditioning, which runs on a set schedule tied to the property’s solar and battery system rather than a switch you can adjust yourself. It’s a nice reflection of how sustainably the place is run, and once we understood the rhythm of it, it wasn’t an issue.

9.0It was so peaceful and quiet. Very well equipped with table tennis, fuzzball, volley ball net etc.
− Only draw back was the drive up the narrow road from Vid.

10.0Die Unterkunft hatte alles was man brauchte, war eingezäunt, sehr sauber und hatte viele Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten bei heißen sowie regnerischen Tagen. Gastfreundschaft steht bei ihnen an oberster Stelle (selbstgemachter Wurst-/Käseteller, Gemüse, Minibar,…)
− Da die Unterkunft sehr abgelegen ist hat man zwar seine Ruhe, für Einkäufe und die wenigen Restaurants, die in der Gegend sind, muss man jedoch trotzdem knapp 20 Minuten fahren (größtenteils den engeren “Bergweg”). Bei kleineren Hunden muss aufgepasst werden, da der Zaun teilweise große Lücken hat. Für große oder brave Hunde absolut kein Problem.
