An amazing stay! The place was spotless, fully equipped, and in a fantastic location. The view was incredible, and the hostess was warm and very helpful. The perfect way to start my trip!

The sea/port view.

− The stay at Serifos Sea view villa has probably been the most disappointing experience with respect to accommodation in many years of travelling. This property costs 370 euros per night during high season and one would expect an appropriate level of comfort and quality accordingly. Instead, many things were broken or not functional as recent reviews on property’s page also confirm. I will list a few issues: - there is not an allocated and sufficient parking at the property. There are 8 villas and 4 parking slots. If not available, you are left to park on the side of the steep main road- which is dangerous and inconvenient especially in the evening and travelling with small kids. - the property was very dirty, I raised it with management but they ignored our numerous messages. The cleaning ladies tried to come once late in the evening when we were at the property and they never came back. - the location suffers from the noise of the main road, especially in the main bedroom. -there is no air conditioning downstairs, so if there are more than 4 guests and attempt to sleep downstairs, it is an issue in the summer months. - the bathroom sink was blocked. - the shower is very small, old, dirty and with broken door handles. If you are a taller or bigger that average person - its a struggle to use it. - the toilet was dirty and the toilet seat was old and discoloured. In the already small toilet room, there were some buckets and mops occupying space and providing an unpleasant view... - the outdoor terraces were very dirty with leaves and dirt ( we understand that perhaps hosing might not be allowed, however they could had at least broomed the spaces) - the clothes drying rail was broken - the floor was dirty with flaking paint in several places - the fridge was dirty with several dead mosquitos inside! - lots of cutleries were not clean and stained To summarise, the property is not looked after or maintained to the level expected for its costs and description.

The villa was comfortable with 3 bedrooms located on the upper floor. It's biggest advantages were: i) the fantastic sea view (enjoyable on ground and upper floor verandas) ii) the walkable distance from Livadakia (Serifos port). This came in handy to avoid taking the car (parking was extremely difficult in Serifos). The villa was also reasonably well equipped (but see other comments).

− Although the bedrooms had air-conditioning, the ground floor living room wasn't...consequently it was getting too hot (despite the presence of 2 fans). The wifi was a portable 4g router that would only be sufficient/adequate on one floor if you took it with you, but not both floors at the same time. In the bathroom, the shower cabin was far too small and things were falling apart (loose handles, sliding doors not working properly). A few additional things were also falling apart or were not functional (one remote air-conditioning control was not working even after we changed batteries, the drying rack was half broken and there were only 3-4 hangers, one bedside lamp was not working, there was a stale smell under the sink and the list goes on). In addition to the above there were no toiletries and just enough towels and linen for 4 people (house capacity is up to 6). We requested additional towels by calling the manager, but have never received them... Actually, there was no interaction at all with the owners, we never saw anybody. Finally the house was difficult to find and the parking was not guaranteed. All this brings me to the final point: paying 350 euro per night, you would expect these little details to be taken care of... Therefore the villa was overpriced and not properly serviced in our view.
