10.0Abbiamo appena trascorso un weekend in questa villa, appena ristrutturata, spaziosa ed accogliente. Gli ambienti ben organizzati, arredati con gusto, sono dotati di tutti i comfort necessari, inclusa una comoda lavatrice che si è rivelata molto utile durante il nostro soggiorno. Una casa perfetta per trovare tranquillità e relax. Il giardino ampio e ben curato è un vero angolo di pace, reso ancora più suggestivo dall'ombra di palme e due magnifici ulivi. L'ampio portico che si affaccia sul giardino si è rivelato perfetto per le prime colazioni oltre che per pranzi o cene all'aperto, grazie anche a un tavolo esterno spazioso. Molto comoda anche l'ampia doppia doccia esterna che si è rivelata straordinariamente tonificante dopo le giornata al mare, una vera chicca da URLO!!!... Utilissimo l'ampio parcheggio all’interno alla proprietà, accessibile attraverso un cancello elettrico automatico, un grande vantaggio per chi arriva in auto e vuole la comodità di un posto sicuro e accessibile. Abbiamo riscontrato che la posizione è davvero strategica sia per andare al mare anche a piedi, facendo una passeggiata di 10 minuti, sia come punto di partenza per esplorare le meraviglie della Sicilia Sud-orientale. Siracusa è a pochi chilometri di distanza, che è stata meta per una passeggiata serale, ed abbiamo potuto facilmente raggiungere e visitare le meraviglie culturali e naturalistiche della Val di Noto e Ragusa. Siamo stati veramente bene. Grazie di cuore per questa magnifica esperienza!
Cosy cottage for two couples on a Siilian adventure..!
8.0Our friendly host Elio met us to make sure everything was in order. The house suited our little group (two couples) very well for a short stay. The kitchen was good and well equipped, we enjoyed cooking some of our meals there. The location was great for our visits to nearby Syracuse, and we also enjoyed driving to other wonderful towns like Noto, Scicli and Ragusa. Our host could not have done more for us - including provision of a supply of homegrown veg and delicious passata which we used for cooking.
− There was a minor issue with the oven tripping the circuit breaker which will easily be fixed. One of the bedrooms has a more comfortable bed than the other.
