A trip to remember
8.0Great views, awesome garden, nice pool. The villa was big and clean and the kitchen and the bathrooms were in good shape. The cooling system kept the temperature downstairs to around 28C, one could cool the bedrooms upstairs further. The villa served as a good base for venturing into the neighboring areas.
− For the adults, the villa was quite interesting and of a traditional Tuscan style with visible history. Loved the living room and kitchen area in particular. For the kids, the villa had a dead grandmother type of a spirit (antiques, old pictures and odor especially in some of the rooms). A cockroach that fell from the ceiling on the bed two of our kids were lying on gave a bit of a scare (as we are not accustomed to such bugs) and the kids abandoned "the cockroach bedroom" thereafter, and slept poorly with the lights on. There was also a bat living under the balcony, which did not improve the sentiment. Overall, this villa is perhaps not the best fit for the elderly or toddlers/small children (due to a lot of stairs and the need to be careful not to break anything that cannot be replaced), but our party did not include either.

Stunning villa easy access! Highly recommended!
10.0We are a group of 4 girls and Beatrice and her team made us felt very welcome! They waited for us and took us around the Villa just to make sure everything was alright for us even it was past their working hours for checking in. The 300 year old villa itself is an absolute beauty! We could just stay in the villa and admire the beautiful mountain view for hours. It's well maintained with a lot of nice decorations and antique furniture. Swimming pool is a bonus too! The villa is located in Montaione town which is about 1 hour drive from Pisa International airport and Florence. Lots of stunning local Tuscany restaurants near by and we had the opportunity to go truffle hunting with Beatrice and a local truffle man and his dog! We loved every minute of our stay and there was nothing else we could ask for. We all wish to come back very very soon! :) Thank you so much for everything!
