9.0This is a very nicely restored house . The location was excellent as just a short walk to the main street . We loved the original art on the walls and looked up the artist- Clearly a lot of thought has gone into providing comfort for guests The house has been carefully restored and tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean ; well laid out; well equipped and overall very pleasant . We didn't meet the host but that's fine as communication was good.
− Very little to dislike but we were there in a cold spell. The heater was affective but cannot be left on overnight or except when present in the house as it is an in room gas heater connected to the mains. These are common in NSW but banned in Victoria. Figure that out. Anyway we are used to them having lived in Sydney. But a modern heat pump would be more effective and more economical too Bathroom window was locked open so cold air came it But we don't want to create the wrong impression- we were comfortable especially after we discovered the electric blankets on the beds . Last time we were in Broken Hill it was about 40 c- so everything is relative!
