Right on the beach. Rustic but relaxing

− Personally- I liked it- but someone who is looking for something fancy might be disappointed. It is not near town and is fairly basic. Just what I was looking for though

Great place to stay. Hostess was excellent helped us with everything we needed even ordered food for us. At our request She lit a small campfire for us by the beach a must if you stay here. Definitely going back...soon I hope.

Six night stay

Owner was very nice.The penthouse was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. The pools were clean as well and there were lots of lounge chairs. The absence of nearby restaurants after 5pm was the only negative. The collectivo to the airport and Barra de Potosi only cost $1US and they ran every 20 minutes up to 6pm. ZIHUATANEJO was a bit too far for dinner and the taxi was expensive to do daily.

I rated 10, but really it's 110! I arrived stressed, anxious, exhausted. I'm leaving rested, refreshed, revived. The whole place is full of love, calm, beauty. The sounds of waves, birds, the fresh sea air, the beautiful palm trees. My casita and bed were so comfortable, the entire grounds are spotlessly clean. Swimming pools sparkling, the community kitchen fully stocked with everything needed to prepare coffee, snacks or breakfast. I bought fresh fruit/veg from the local truck that delivers every few days. The beach is so clean,great for long walks, beautiful sunsets. The WiFi made me able to study Spanish on my iPad.Two delightful pups, Tobias and Chapito, and a crew of well fed cats made me feel so welcome. Especially wonderful are the kind and caring people that live and work here: José, Antonio the taxi driver, and of course my new friend, the lovely owner, Maggie. She did everything to make my stay perfect. This property is a gift from her and her well loved husband Jeffrey, who has sadly recently passed away: their pride they have invested in it shows everywhere. In the paintings, the artwork, the hammocks and comfortable lounges, the whole feeling of peace and beauty. I have spent many years going to Kaua'i/ Hawai'i for my tropical paradise getaway, and I am so grateful I was able to spend three fantastic weeks here. Mèxico most definitely compares favorably, and economically more comfortably, too. I will most certainly be back. I can't recommend TreeTops highly enough. ¡Gracias, y viva Zihuatanejo!

− Not a thing. If you are looking to unplug, breathe deep and just relax into the peace and tranquility, this is just the place for you. There are also plenty of activities and other places/beaches/ restaurants to explore close by, and I did, but that's another story.

If a relaxing vacation is what your after…go here, run don’t walk

Super clean, great location for a relaxing vacation. Beach was absolutely beautiful. Host was super friendly and accommodating. Not a bustling hoping area but there was a few good food locations near by. Taxi driver that Maggie the host recommended was trustworthy, fast and reliable. Returning in April as Zihuatanejo is my new favourite Mexican travel destination. Absolutely loved chapo and tobias the dogs.

− It didn’t bug me at all but there’s a couple airplanes that fly over a few times a day. It’s loud for 30 seconds.
