The little touches made the difference, best place we’ve stayed in Buckingham The fans were a nice touch

The location was convenient for Buckingham and attending my daughter’s graduation. The property had electric fans in the bedrooms and lounge, which were appreciated during the hot weather.

− Unfortunately, the property did not match the standard presented in the listing. The décor is very tired, with cracks visible throughout many of the walls, and the property is in need of maintenance and redecoration. The garden was very neglected and not presented as shown in the photographs. Cleanliness was disappointing. There were cobwebs in the bedrooms, black mould in the shower trays, stained toilet bowls, and some of the cutlery was dirty in the drawer. The bedding provided for “ sofa beds” also had visible stains. The advertised sofa beds are not sofa beds as shown in the listing. They are modular sofa sections pushed together, making them very uncomfortable to sleep on as you can feel the hard edges beneath the cushions. They appeared old, with stretch covers and throws over them, and did not feel clean or suitable for sleeping. There were signs of damp around some of the doors, and there was a strong, overpowering smell in the kitchen when we arrived, which made the property unpleasant to enter. The advertised parking is also misleading. It consists of parking on a grass verge beside the road without a dropped kerb and raised man hole covers, rather than a proper parking space. Be careful that you don’t damage your vehicle! Overall, the property has clearly not been maintained to the standard expected for paying guests, particularly at this price point. I was disappointed to have chosen this property for my daughter’s graduation stay, as I had hoped for accommodation that was clean, well maintained and accurately represented in the listing. The property is quite tired, with uneven flooring, cracked laminate and an unkempt garden.

− Not really a dislike in regards to the property it’s self, just the fact it was on the plot of a petrol station and the parking on the grass verge without a dropped kerb wasn’t ideal but there were other options for parking but that is no reflection on the property

The villa is in a prime location with shops and public transport accessible within minutes. Ideal for family with well equipped kitchen. Also it had a good amount of book collection and board games. My kids loved the place. Also the host is very kind and very reachable if you need any local information. Thanks to Sathish for his timely help.

Unfortunately we will not be recommending this place and wouldn't stay here again

It was only 10 minutes to where we needed to go over the 4 days we stayed there and shops were all accessible.

− Very dissapointed to be sold a 'newly refurbished home' its certainly not that. To have no images when booking it was a total gamble. The place was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was a stain on the bed covers and did not smell fresh, the dust was unbelievable, the carpet was disgusting, coffee table was dirty, the sofa smelled awful, there were ants at the shower of one of the bedroom ensuites and in the sink, the bathrooms were not clean and to be told the cleaners had just been in for our arrival! The entire place was damp, the bathroom fans didn't work and the extra bedding also did not appear to be fresh. The flooring downstairs was uneven and chipped and kitchen was unclean. The picture used above of the outside bar - it does not look like that anymore so I assume is a very old image.
