Vietimme aivan mahtavan loman Villa Plataniaksessa Skiathoksella. Majoituspaikka sopi täydellisesti meidän perheemme tarpeisiin, ja myös pienet lapset oli huomioitu upeasti. ​Erityistä kiitosta saa kaunis ja todella hyvin hoidettu piha-alue uima-altaineen. Kukkaistutukset olivat kerrassaan ihastelemisen arvoisia, ja pihaa ylläpidettiin ja siistittiin päivittäin. Itse villa oli konstailematon, kotoisa ja tyylikkään simppeli – ei liian moderni, vaan juuri sopiva meidän makuumme. Suomalaisille ilmalämpöpumppu ja jokaisesta huoneesta löytyvät tuulettimet olivat aivan pelastus kuumien päivien jälkeen! ​Sijainti on loistava perheille, jotka kaipaavat omaa rauhaa. Silti kaikki tarvittavat palvelut, kuten ranta, hyvät ravintolat ja kauppa, ovat aivan lähellä. Autolla liikkuminen oli todella helppoa, ja villalta käsin oli kätevä tutkia saaren jokaista kolkkaa. Villasta löytyi kaikki perustarpeet, mitä pienten lasten kanssa matkustaessa tarvitsee. ​Suuri kiitos myös ystävälliselle omistajalle, joka oli tavoitettavissa mihin vuorokaudenaikaan tahansa. - Great communication with the owners over the phone, instant replies over the booking - Great location of the house which provides privacy, there are no other houses right next to you so noone will disturb you - Comfy beds for sleeping - house is equipped really well and in the kitchen you will find everything you need for cooking - Small details like when the sun rises it shines exactly where the entrance of the house is and you can enjoy your coffee while watching it - the umbrellas around the pool are solid and provide shade even when the sun is hot - the pool of course just be aware it has 1,80 cm everywhere - if you like hiking, this is one of the best locations as the starting point, sunset on Elatos peak is amazing !

− If you won't hire a car, you will have to carry regurarly water packed bottles over long distance, and the water in smaller shops is overpriced. Owners left some bottles for us when we arrived (thanks), but for longer stays its one thing to consider.

One of our best ever vacation stays

The villa is very private, it’s on a hill in the middle of nature, the views from the garden are stunning and we saw a lot of wildlife around the stream crossing the property. It’s also minutes away from two lovely beaches, supermarkets, bus stop, amazing restaurants and a great base for exploring the entire island. It’s truly something else. The house has everything you need for an extended stay, great wifi, amazing pool and lounge areas, absolutly anything you might require. But the hosts really make the difference, they spare no effort to help you get the best vacation, very warm and nice people, the best of the famous Greek hospitality. We felt truly lucky to have found this gem and would surely come again.

The villa is beautiful. Lovely peaceful setting, gardens and pool are fabulous. Property is clean and well equipped and the hosts are wonderful, nothing too much trouble. We were in Skiathos for a family wedding and it definitely helped make our stay memorable.
