− Some small additions would be great - A washing line & pegs as we needed to hand wash some clothes while we were there Maybe even having a washing mashing in the outbuildings ? A couple of sun loungers on the terrace would have been appreciated Something to drain pasta through !
Gorgeous stay in Civita
10.0This is a very beautifully updated medieval tower that very close to the center of Civita Castellana. There is a little pedestrian shortcut to walk into the center of the town and it only takes about 10 minutes. The pictures really don’t do the property justice. It’s very clean and tastefully decorated inside. It’s also impressive that the small windows can give the rooms beautiful natural light. The host is extremely helpful and friendly as well. We really enjoyed our time!
− The stairs are very steep. It was not an issue for us, but could be a consideration if you are elderly or have small children.

9.0We loved how thoughtfully the tower had been transformed into a luxurious and tastefully designed home with so much attention to detail. Beautiful antiques and furnishings. It exceeded our expectations! And it was the only place where we stayed in Italy where thought was given to providing 4 comfortable chairs and not just one sofa for a family of four. Host was so gracious too! I can't recommend this accommodation and the host enough! It really did live up to the pictures!

10.0The building and the setting are exceptional. Historic tower with ancient ruins all around, great views, lovely woods, stunning cliffs down to the rivers, loads of space. Unique.

− Not good if you struggle with stairs - there are not many but they are steep and narrow… my parents would have found them difficult
