Wonderful stay in the Algarve

Loved the stay. One of the highlights for our family was the large garden, which was perfect for the children to play safely outdoors for hours. They loved having so much space to run around and enjoy themselves while the adults could relax and make the most of the pool area. The outdoor space is ideal for families. While the kids were happily playing in the garden, the parents enjoyed spending time by the pool and having BBQs together. It created a great atmosphere where everyone could enjoy their holiday in their own way. We really enjoyed our time at the villa and would happily return in the future

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at Casa Belo Horizonte in Porches. The house is huge and the pool area is absolutely fantastic for families and large groups. We were 15 people and the experience exceeded all our expectations. Before arriving, we had read some less positive reviews and were a little concerned about the condition of the property. However, when we checked in, the staff member explained that the house had undergone three weeks of renovations. When we arrived, it was clear that a lot of work had been done — the house was spotless and looked fantastic. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be coming back. A big thank you to Dream Places for providing such a wonderful experience and making our holiday so memorable.

The villa has strong potential and is well located with the capacity to host many guests; however, the poor cleanliness and lack of proper maintenance significantly detract from the experience, making it difficult to recommend.

− Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the property, especially the outdoor areas, was far below the minimum standards expected for this type of accommodation. The swimming pool was unusable for the entire week due to the dirty water and, in particular, the very unclean pool floor. The jacuzzi was almost empty upon our arrival and even dirtier than the pool. More generally, the outdoor spaces were not maintained at all. The barbecue area was completely dirty, and the poolside area felt neglected and poorly cared for.

Fantastische vakantie villa

Prachtige ruime vakantievilla, alle slaapkamers zijn netjes ingericht, wij waren er met ons gezin, 6 volwassenen en 6 kinderen. De keuken was ruim en goed uitgerust. Het aangrenzende terras is een fijne plek om samen te eten. Genoten van het zwembad en extra kinderbadje in de ruime tuin. De locatie is fantastisch, overal dichtbij, vliegveld, strand en supermarkt. Wij hebben een geweldige week genoten bij heerlijke temperaturen met veel zon. De hostess was heel vriendelijk en attent. Ze was snel en duidelijk met berichten via WhatsApp. Een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen.

− Er kwam geen warm water uit de kraan in de keuken alleen maar heel lauw water. Was niet heel erg handig maar we hebben het opgelost door water te koken met de waterkoker. Rond om het huis kan nog wel wat achterstallig onderhoud gedaan worden.

Just back from a week in this villa. I'll start with the pros . Beautiful huge house that has been restored to a high standard with beautiful bedrooms, beds bathrooms and living area. We had a large group of 9 adults and 5 kids . The kitchen was so well equipped and lots of Delph for all the cooking we did. Very nice with lots of space for everyone. We love the separate little Anex with 3 bedrooms and lots of privacy for anyone who liked to get away from crowd.

− Didn't get in until after 4pm and cleaners still there on a very warm day ...a bit of a pain. The main tv wasn't working and we rang immediately to get it sorted as our younger people needed it !!! ...the whole week went by and it was never replaced. Luckily one of our group took the only other tv on the property from a bedroom and was able to set it up otherwise it would have been a big issue. The pool area is a disappointment! For such a fabulous villa it was obviously last thing to be upgraded. The pool itself was old and a few sharp tiles. It was clean but old. The sunbeds were not up to scratch at all. The white ones really uncomfortable with bars sticking in your back and the brown ones need an extreme power washing or replacement. The gardens themselves were impeccable with lemon trees pomegranate trees and a beautiful fig tree ...stunning but let down by pool area.
