Beautiful, Clean and Peaceful

The facility was not ready at all for us. The place was not clean at all. Especially all the stairs verandahs etc. It felt very creepy occupying it inside We had to clean the surface of the space we occupied just so we could sleep travelling 4 and a half hours ffom durban.

− 1.The shower in room 3 wasnt working. The kids woke up to a flooded bathroom and bedroom because the water did not soak away 2. The balcony and all staircases were dirty from old dry bird poop and dust. We could not enjoy staying outside. The patio was also not clean. 3. False advertising. The pictures show a relaxing lounge but when we arrived it was locked and we were told that we dont have access to it. We went to inquire further very late at night and we were told they would consider opening in the morning, as though they sere doing us just a favour. 4. There was no wifi, the owner promised to have someone come over to fix it but it never happened. Each time we needed to vall, we had to take a short drive outsidr 5. The worst was when the power went off. We had to go figure it ourselves as to where the metre box was in the dark, only to realise that they did not buy prepaid electricity. We had to eat cold food in the dark, whilst we were waiting for this matter to be resolved. * We ended up doing it ourselves. So we went down stairs and loaded the prepaid electricity ourselves.* The owner reached out to us after we had had enough of all the disturbances and we were ready to check out but he requsted that we continue staying over and he was going to reimberse us 50% of the total booking. We are still eaiting. Overall. The experiance was horrible Voice notes are available for onfirmation. Ill attach conversations with the hos as well.

I liked the river

− It’s old, the curtains are broken, it’s so dirty, cheap furniture. The toilet was propped up on a brick as it was coming out the wall. Awful stay couldn’t wait to leave.

− Had to contact the staff to contact the property manager because they did not load enough electricity. Property is poorly maintained. Unfortunately seems like a lot of miscommunication between the owner/manager of the property and the management of Jozini Tiger Lodge. They was goat droppings all over the property too.

It was good and safe but cleaning needs to up their game the beds were not appleasing

beautiful view from the room. hotel had a nice pool with some slides. kids enjoyed it. main activity is fishing.

− breakfast was average. room was nice and spacious however kitchen lacked a lot of basic utensils. no carpets so a lot of dirt was dragged around. bed and bathroom looked good and clean but not comfortable or easy to use. open plan design meant shower wet everything.
