Tropical oasis in charming village

The perfect villa to spend 12 nights with our family of 8 (teens and adult children). We had our own rooms, so plenty of space to relax and then meet up in the kitchen and pool. The villa was clean, rooms were large with excellent air conditioning and fridges. I loved my shower outside in the ‘honeymoon suite’. The pool was cool and shady, which is hard to find this time of year and seemed bigger than the pics. The gorgeous beach is just down the lane in one direction and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

− The property was 10/10 and we loved it BUT started off not so good: unfortunately the people prior checked out late so we were waiting around until after 3pm to check in. Having booked the 6 bedrooms the hosts said we booked the 5 bedrooms because we had 8 people. I had to explain a few times and show my invoice that I booked the 6 bedrooms as per booking.com, then I was told I could have the room for free - which didn’t make sense because I had the booking of 6 bedrooms! So make sure you clarify prior. Noise: AnBang has construction happening in every street/lane so 10/ 12 days had construction from Villa next door (should be finished by now). Some rooms don’t have blinds on all windows, privacy is on but the light isn’t. With having said that its the perfect stay for families and groups.

Great Location, Pool was an oasis on hot summer days, rooms are well appointed / air-conditioned and host Robert was very helpful with any requests or questions we had, including cooking a seafood BBQ feast.

We loved our stay at oh La La. The shaded courtyard and pool was perfect for staying cool. Was perfect to share with large groups or another family.

Le logement était super. Très bien placé. Le propriétaire très sympathique. Des servies au top !

− Nous sommes arrivés en période de travaux dans les villas alentours. Donc matinées très bruyantes. Mais c’est temporaire.

Great location in theory - very close to the beach and a short walk from restaurants. The rooms were spacious though a couple lacked curtains on the windows at the back that faced a wall making the outlook rather dreary and allowing light in too early.

− This is tricky. We arrived to find construction going on immediately adjacent - i.e. I could have leaned over a wall and shaken the hand of the foreman! On the day we arrived we had hours of noise from hammers and power tools. This started again on the second day. We raised the matter with the manager and after a couple of calls to Booking.com staff he agreed to allow us to cancel early. We were very grateful for this but strongly feel we should have been advised of the work in advance.
