8.0Die Cave Villa und Matala sind wirklich sehr bezaubernd. Wir liebten den Pool und den Komfort der Betten. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und Dusche und Bad top. Alles ist gut klimatisiert. Zum Strand sind es 5 bis 10min zu Fuß, dort findet sich auch direkt ein Supermarkt. Ein Mietwagen ist zu empfehlen, um genug Abwechslung in die Tage zu bringen.
− Das Frühstück ist ok, könnte bei mehr als einer Woche nur etwas mehr Abwechslung vertragen. Lecker ist es aber auf jeden Fall.

9.0Best of both worlds: a private apartment with its own pool, belonging to a hotel with reception and breakfast service. Very spacious rooms and comfortable beds, A/C everywhere. Full kitchen allows for preparing your own meals. Perfect stay for families with children. Parking is available right in front, Matala beach is only a few minutes walk away. We stayed here at the beginning of May when the season only started, the timing was perfect for us: weather was great but not too hot, and the crowds were yet to arrive.
− If anything, the breakfast was average, and the coffee there was not great. But the villas have their own Nespresso machine which we ended up using instead.
