8.0It is beautiful ancient venue situated in a quit little town just in between the mountains and the flat area. About 1 hour drive to walk on the higher peaks (Rosetta is nice) and 5 torre is further away…. But we don’t mind driving a bit each day
− There is nothing we disliked… we do love our privacy though and I probably read it wrong, but I thought it was completely private (also the garden and the whole house) Family also lives on the property although you don’t see them… it just was not our thing to then spend time in the beautiful garden knowing they have their terrace and privacy there too. One family member also inhabits the same area, so you can’t really walk completely private/

1.0The villa is really beautiful, located in the middle of a romantic tiny town. Just like in the photos. It is surrounded by huge peaks of the Alps, you will love it.
− In case the host doesn't inform you, please ask him about the renovation works before you plan your trip. We have travelled 800 kilometers just to hear reconstruction works all the day long from 7:30 until 18:00. They work on an appartent next to yours (connected with just one door), you will heare every word and all the hammering. We have cancelled our stay after 3 days, got refounded too, but such a pity! If we new this, we wouldn't come here. Please be aware!!!

Escape into a different time in a beautiful 13 century villa
10.0A wonderful escape into prior centuries with the luxury of modern years. Giovanni was incredibly helpful - using a translation app - to provide background about the house and its history, helped us around, and made us feel home. The house is a WOW in every room, restored with lots of love und passion for detail. A unique stay and treat for us after 10 days of hiking on the Alta Via 1.
