From start to finish, the entire stay felt like a series of serendipitous moments
9.0Everything! It lives upto its name Serendipity. The house is a dream . It’s built with so much love you can tell.The hospitality is top tier !! Sanjay and Swati are really kind and helpful. Swati made some amazing food . Such homely comforting food is rare on vacation. I’d love to come back .This place is highly recommended .
− The AC was not working in the room we booked . So the care taker Sanjay moved us into another room which was bigger .That’s a good thing however the AC’s are placed too high the cool air doesn’t reach you . Rest there was no other issue . The property is a wonderful 😍

10.0I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Everything about this place works, from the thoughtfully designed property to the staff who make it run. Sanjay and Swati are both exceptional. Sanjay sorted bike rentals for us without a fuss and is the kind of person who anticipates things before you ask. Swati is an incredible cook. Don't skip a single meal here. I had the best prawns I've eaten in Goa and her masala chai is worth the trip alone. She even ironed my clothes when the iron in my room couldn't be used because of the plug point, without being asked and without making it a thing. The small details matter too: world-class toiletries, fresh sheets and towels every day without asking, and they don't mention payment until you're leaving. That's the level they operate at. Meeting Jhanska and the family gave me real context for how much work went into this place. Ask Sanjay to show you the early photos of the property. What they've built from scratch tells you everything about the care that went into it.

Great place to wind down and relax.
9.0This is a beautiful place, with a lot of atmosphere, and created with a lot of attention to details. The room is very comfortable, with a nice porch to sit on. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they prepare great food. If you're into lazy bird watching, bring your binoculars to the pool and watch the hornbills and woodpeckers hopping around in the trees while you're chilling at the pool's edge.

9.0Beautifully run homestay. Pria is a great host, we had some wonderful conversations with her a d her family. She’s trained her staff well and we felt right at home!
Lovely old Portuguese house but tricky and noisy location
7.0The house is beautiful as is the room and the gardens/pool. Unfortunately it wasn’t for us. We’d just come from a very busy family time and wanted peace and quiet which this place didn’t really offer it. It’s near a very busy road that was loud all night. Also the chef was away and the nearest eating place was 10/15 mins away on a tricky dark road. To be fair, the owner was absolutely great and understood our problem and only charged us for the one night although we’d booked for three - can’t fault her for this!!
