Toni was an incredible host, attentive and kind. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had all of the facilities required to make the stay comfortable. The pool was very relaxing and the outdoor communal area was very tidy and clean. The location is ideal for an escape from a busy life. Another point worth mentioning is that there is good space parking if travelling with a van. Overall, a lovely experience i will definitely be back!

The location in a quiet little town is nice, with a river nearby.

− The property is listed as a private villa with a private pool, but in reality it is an apartment which is part of a larger building with several apartments (including the apartment of the host, next to the pool) and the pool is shared with all the guests. Be careful when booking this property, because the photos on the main listing page of the property of this 'private villa' don't match the apartment as in reality it's the photos of both apartments. So the apartment you will get is smaller than the photos listed in the main listing. As such, we felt cheated and it did not seem like the right value for money. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with barely enough cooking utensils to make a meal. Furthermore, there was also an ant problem in the kitchen. The communication with the host was quite difficult. For example, when the Wi-Fi did not work (most of our stay), we were told it has to be because we are doing something wrong. Until it turned out the power in the host's apartment had gone out, but he was not there so it could not be fixed until right before our departure. EDIT: I have adjusted the rating from 4/10 to 1/10. After posting this review, the host Toni has contacted me very aggressively, threatening legal action if I don't take down this review. So maybe there were more negative reviews, but this is how he tried to get rid of my review at least. I also became aware of a number of negative reviews on Google Maps, which describe a similar manner of very unpleasant, intrusive and aggressive behavior from the host. Additionally, it is described there that he withheld the deposit from multiple people. It seems like we were quite lucky to get back our deposit because he was busy trying to fix the electricity late in the evening. Given his recent behavior, I think we also would not have received back our deposit, and certainly not after posting a negative review.

Charming accommodations and fantastic host, definitely worth staying

Fantastic accomodation in a small village , and our host Toni was excellent, helping with things to do in the local area and providing for a warm welcome.Only 10 mins from the lake at Banyoles and would definitely recommend a stay at the property.
